In mathematics, a googolplex is a number represented by a 1 followed by a googol of zeroes. A googol is a number represented by a 1 followed by 100 zeroes. To put this in perspective, a googolplex is significantly larger than the number of atoms in the observable universe, which is estimated to be around 10^80.


Graham's number is an even larger number, first described by mathematician Ronald Graham in the 1970s. The number is so large that it is almost impossible to conceptualize. To give an idea of its scale, the number of digits (just the digits) in Graham's number is estimated to be around 310^(310^(310^(310^3))).


The observable universe is also incredibly vast, with an estimated diameter of around 93 billion light-years. The volume of the observable universe is estimated to be around 4 x 10^104 (400 Trestrigintillion) cubic meters. This is an incomprehensible scale, and it is thought that there may be even more beyond the observable universe.
