CyberRob vs. Leviathan: The Ultimate Battle for Cyber City

Cyber City is under attack! The giant alien monster, Leviathan has descended upon our streets, wreaking havoc and destruction in its wake. But fear not, citizens, for we have a hero to save the day: CyberRob, the ultimate weapon in the fight against extraterrestrial threats.

In this 60-second film, we see CyberRob standing tall against the monstrous invader, armed with a powerful weapon and ready for battle. The music is tense and ominous, setting the stage for an epic showdown. But despite the danger, CyberRob remains cool, calm, and collected, confident in his ability to send the monster packing and protect the city.

As the two opponents face off, we can't help but feel a sense of awe and excitement. Will CyberRob emerge victorious? Or will the alien monster prove too powerful to defeat? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain: CyberRob is our best hope for survival.

Making of CyberRob™ IX…

When I set out to create the short film CyberRob™ IX, I knew I wanted to push the boundaries of what was possible with Unreal Engine 5 for the visual effects and animation.

Unreal Engine 5 offers a level of realism and detail that I couldn't have achieved with other animation software. From the intricate design of CyberRob's armor to the massive scale of the alien monster, everything was brought to life with stunning accuracy and realism.

One of the most exciting aspects of working with UE5 was the new Nanite virtualized geometry system. This allowed me to create incredibly detailed models and environments without worrying about the limitations of traditional polygon counts. The result is a film that looks and feels incredibly lifelike, immersing the audience in the action and making them feel like they're right there in Cyber City.

But visual effects and animation are just one part of the story. I also put a lot of effort into the camera work and color grading, using smooth and dynamic camera movements to keep the audience engaged and on the edge of their seats. The film was edited in Final Cut Pro, which allowed me to fine-tune the pacing and add the ominous music.

Overall, working on this short film was a new and quite fulfilling experience. I’m proud of the results and hope you enjoy watching the film as much as I enjoyed creating it. With the help of UE5, Final Cut Pro and other tools, I was able to bring to life this short, epic film that I hope will delight your senses and give you a taste of what’s to come.
